These 1897 Tea Gown Patterns were made following an actual Worth Tea Gown of the same year.
The dress was altered a little bit to fit the standard sizes.

Tea gowns were indoor outfits made for informal occasions. They were never worn on the outside. The Lady could also wore it with or without the corset, since it's meant to be a comfortable outfit.
