ANTIQUE Chromolithograph rare signed Print 1907 - Turtledove - La Tourterelle

This exceptional chromolithograph is from a French book published in 1907 and illustrated by P Mahler, a German artist. Artist’s signature can be seen at bottom right of print. The work was published by Mimard & Blachon. The chromolithographs were given as beautiful gifts to their most faithful customers.

Accompanying each print is the original printed tissue guard page that describes the particulars and details of that animal/bird. Please note this is in French.

The beautifully executed prints from this volume are highly sought-after collectibles and are rare and expensive to source.

Full page size approx 11" x 7.5", print is centred on page with approx half inch of pale grey surround with the outer area being off white. Actual size of print with grey surround is approx 9" x 6". This is unmounted so you can add your personal choice of mount. This chromolithograph can be enhanced with a 10" x 8" black mount or larger, depending on how you wish to present it.

Please note the print listed is UNMOUNTED.

All prints are enclosed in a clear, plastic protective bag and posted in hardback envelopes which state 'Please do not bend' in large red writing on the front, for their protection.
