This mat was designed by me, so you can be sure this is truly a unique pattern. It was also handmade by me using a natural jute rope, with some manila rope intertwined for stiffness.
SPECIFICATION:
- Diameter: approx. 122cm (48 in)
- Thickness: approx. 2 cm ( 0.75in)
- Color: Brown-gray
- Material: Natural jute rope with some manila rope for stiffness
Each rug is made to order so it may be slightly different from the one that is pictured here - but this is what handmade is all about :)
RUG TREATMENT
- Non-skid coating (optional; if no option chosen, coating IS APPLIED)
One side of the rug can have a non-skid coating applied. This is an option that can be chosen from the pull down menu before item is added to the shopping cart. The coating is clear and does not change the look of the rug.
This treatment is highly recommend if the rug is going to be on a hard wood floor, tile or other slippery surface.
The non-skid coating is not needed if the rug is meant to be placed on top of a carpet, or other non-slip surface.
- Rug Protection (optional; if no option chosen, protection IS APPLIED).
The rug can be treated with rug protector. This is an option that can be chosen from the pull down menu before item is added to the shopping cart. It does not cause any changes in color or texture of the rug. It increases durability and life of the rug and provides lasting resistance to abrasion and wear. It retains over 80% effectiveness after 2 years of normal use.
CARE:
Jute rope and manila rope are natural fibers and their lifespan will be shortened if they are left wet or exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time. Keep in mind though, jute rope has been used outdoors for ages.
Do not machine wash. If needed, rinse with water and lay flat to dry. Dry promptly and thoroughly.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact me within 1 week of receiving your package. I will do my best to resolve the problem quickly. Refunds and exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Returns must be in the original condition as it was sent - unused and not damaged. The item will have to be shipped at your own cost. Returns will be credited back via the method of payment for the full purchase price minus shipping charges.
If item was damaged during shipping, you'll need to submit the pictures of the damaged item and the packaging.
Custom items with unique customization are not refundable. I make sure to send the pictures of the item(s) before shipping to get the final approval.
If the order is canceled due to no fault of the customer, 100% of charges are refunded.
