Beautiful white baroque pearls adorn this sterling silver spike necklace, creating a look that perfectly combines hard and soft, edgy and classic. Measuring 17 inches (43 cm) in total length, The individual pearls measure approximately 10mm x 14mm (largest pearl) to 9mm x 12mm (smallest pearl). The chain, clasp and spike charm are all solid sterling silver with the spike measuring about 3/4 of an inch long (19 mm).*

These are genuine cultured freshwater pearls. Known as ripple pearls because of their organic rough surfaces, they are a favorite of pearl connoisseurs. These are creamy white with iridescent overtones and have been hand knotted on Spectra, which is soft, washable and very strong. The sterling silver used in this necklace will develop a dark gray patina over time, and this is an intentional part of the necklace design. If desired, a bright finish can be restored with polish, however care must be taken not to polish the pearls as it would damage their fine luster. A free silver polish pad and pearl care card will be included with your order.
