How cool is this? My dad brought this home to me in the early 1960’s. We had never seen anything like it – and still haven’t. All my friends were very jealous! I would wear it around my waist when I went to parties. Most of the time it hung on my bedroom wall.
The winding stem is the on/off switch and the volume control. The center knob on the face turns the hands to the radio station. It still works fine, AM Radio only, using a 9 volt battery. The only markings are on the face – “Transistorized Japan” It is a total of 30” long and the face has a diameter of 4 ½ “.
Yes, it’s used, but it is in great shape! Enjoy.
