How long will it take to make and ship my order?

Most of our items are handcrafted with care and are ready to ship within 3–8 business days, plus shipping time. Need it faster? We offer a 24-hour Rush Processing upgrade for an additional fee. Contact us directly for pricing and a custom listing so we can get your order out quickly. Please note, our studio is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and U.S. holidays, so production times are based on business days only.

What happens if two people order the same gift?

Great minds think alike and that’s something to celebrate! If we notice duplicate orders, we won’t notify either person, so the surprise stays intact. Most of the time, each gift has its own unique details, so both will feel special. No matter what, we’re here to make your celebrations unforgettable!

What are the typical shipping times, and what if something happens during transit?

We ship all orders via USPS or UPS, choosing the best method for your item. Orders do not ship on weekends. DOMESTIC ► USPS First Class/Ground: 3–5 business days ► USPS Priority: 1–3 business days ► USPS Express: 1–2 business days ► UPS Ground Saver: 2–6 business days INTERNATIONAL ► USPS First Class: 2–6 weeks ► USPS Priority: 6–10 business days ► USPS Express: 3–5 business days NOTE: Orders over 4 lbs ship via Priority or Express. Once your order leaves our studio, delivery is handled by the carrier, and we are not responsible for damages, delays or losses in transit. We highly recommend upgraded shipping for insurance. If anything happens, please reach out! We’re happy to assist with replacement items or filing claims.

Will I have to pay customs or VAT fees on my order?

Customs & Import Taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees that your country may apply. We are not responsible for delays or charges caused by customs processing. These fees are set by your government, not us, and are common for international orders. EU Buyers (VAT/GST included): Etsy automatically collects and remits VAT or GST for buyers in the EU. If this applies to you, you’ll see a note at checkout confirming “VAT or GST included.” No additional taxes are due at delivery. Non-EU or Other International Buyers: For countries not covered by Etsy’s tax system, your local customs office may charge VAT or other import taxes before delivery. Fees vary by country, and we cannot control these charges.

Can I cancel my order?

Before processing: Contact us within 12 hours for standard orders or 30 minutes for same day rush orders. We’ll issue a full refund if we haven’t started your custom artwork. During custom artwork creation: Each piece is handcrafted just for you, so we cannot offer refunds once we begin designing. Don’t worry, we’ll work closely with you to ensure you love the final result! After delivery: Orders cannot be canceled once they’ve been shipped. We promise to communicate every step so you feel confident in your one-of-a-kind gift.

Can I return an item?

Non-Personalized Items: If you’re not completely satisfied, contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange a return. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Personalized Items: These include anything custom: names, dates, locations, sheet music, wedding certificates, etc. Because each piece is made just for you, personalized items are non-returnable. However: If WE make a mistake on your order, we’ll gladly send a corrected replacement at no cost. If incorrect personalization was provided by the buyer, we can offer a discounted replacement with the updated art. Please reach out to discuss. We always want you to love your purchase, and we’ll work with you to make it right!

Why might the colors of my item look different in person?

Colors may appear slightly different in person due to screen settings, device calibration, and lighting conditions. Every monitor displays colors a little differently. We professionally calibrate our monitors and printers and inspect every piece by hand to ensure high quality results. For leather items, natural color variations are expected. We use untreated vegetable tanned leather, which can range from light to dark tones depending on the hide and its age. Over time, this leather develops a beautiful patina, darkening naturally with light and handling. Lighting during photography can also affect how colors appear online, so your item may look slightly different than it does on screen.

Why does leather sometimes have marks or natural variations?

Leather is a natural, organic material, so no two pieces are exactly alike. Marks or imperfections are signs of authenticity and character, not flaws. We carefully select high quality leather and minimize prominent blemishes, but you may still notice color variations, small scars, scratches, stretch marks, bug bites, specks, divots, or processing lines. We do not further treat, dye, or cover these natural features, because they make each piece beautiful, raw, and truly one-of-a-kind, just like your story.

What are your business hours, and how can I contact you?

Studio Hours: Monday–Thursday: 10 AM – 4 PM EST Friday: 10 AM – 12 PM EST Orders are only processed during these hours. We’re closed on all U.S. holidays and occasionally take additional days off. If a closure affects your order, we’ll notify you directly. Why no phone support? As a two person handmade business, we handle everything ourselves: designing, printing, engraving, and packaging each order. To provide the best support, we respond exclusively via Etsy messages and email, allowing us to reply efficiently. We do our best to respond within 24 hours (often sooner!) Monday–Friday. Mike usually replies within a few hours during business hours. Thank you for your understanding and support, we truly appreciate it!

Why don’t you use glass over leather or wood art?

Leather and wood are natural materials that need air circulation to stay in good condition. Sealing them under glass can trap moisture, which may cause warping or mold. For this reason, we display our pieces without glass, allowing them to age naturally and remain beautiful over time. If you’d still like to use glass, be sure to leave at least a 1/4 inch spacer between the glass and the art to allow proper airflow.
