What are the terms of use for Piece By Number patterns?

Pattern purchasers may use Piece By Number patterns to sew items for themselves, charity, shows, and/or small-scale commercial production, provided the items are sewn by the pattern buyer on a home sewing machine. Please credit Piece By Number as the pattern design source, especially for items sold on Etsy and/or other on-line venues. Hiring others to sew or mass production of my designs is not permitted without first obtaining a commercial license - please contact me by Etsy convo. All designs, text and graphics in Piece By Number patterns are copyrighted, and may not be copied, shared or redistributed in any form (except finished items as described above) without prior permission.

Can I sell Piece By Number patterns in my shop or use them in my classes?

Discounts for shops and teachers wanting to purchase Piece By Number patterns for sale and/or classes are as follows: 25% discount for 5-10 copies of a single pattern 50% wholesale discount for 11-30 copies 60% for 31+ copies With your purchase, you will be authorized to PRINT the purchased number of copies of the PDF format quilt or block pattern to provide to students or sell in your shop (but not here on Etsy). Unfortunately, I'm not able to print and ship paper patterns.

Can you mail me a printed pattern instead?

All Piece By Number patterns are priced for delivery via INSTANT DOWNLOAD. Unfortunately, I am not able to print and mail paper patterns at this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you offer coupons or discounts?

Once or twice a year, at my discretion, promotional discounts or coupons are offered in my shop. Discounts and coupons are valid only for the period indicated. They cannot be retrospectively applied to past purchases or if the coupon code was forgotten to be input at checkout. Teachers and shops can receive discounts on volume pattern purchases; please see the section above. Promotional discounts and coupons do not apply to discounted volume pattern purchases.

The pattern is good. Wish it would have had the 1/4 seam allowance on the pattern. I had to add it after printing the pieces

Thanks for your review! I’m so sorry you were disappointed about the 1/4” outside seam allowances. These aren't marked on my paper piecing patterns because many quilters resize the blocks, and a marked seam allowance doesn’t stay a true 1/4” after resizing. But a marked seam allowance isn’t needed at all! Just remember to leave at least ¼” extra fabric all around each unit when paper piecing. When you’ve finished sewing the unit, trim the seam allowance down to ¼” with a rotary cutter and ruler. You’ll get used to working this way very quickly, usually after just one unit 😊 The instructions and tutorial include more information. I always encourage customers to contact me directly with any questions about my patterns. Thank you!
