Description

"The Lord is my shepherd..." A soothing color palette and pastoral imagery combine with hand-written text that is whimsical yet easy to read. Pause briefly as you walk past it hanging in your home, and pray the beautiful and well-loved words of Psalm 23.

This print is a reproduction of my 11x14 hand-drawn, watercolor illustration of Psalm 23. The contemporary style and colors are a great fit for a teen or dorm room, kitchen, nursery....or pick a set of 8 A2 (Invitation) sized notecards or 12 2.5x3 inch prayercards to share the peace with others.

Prints are professionally run by a small, locally owned print shop. One of the many things I appreciate about them is they use sustainably forested paper and environmentally sensitive inks. They work closely with me to ensure the prints have the same color and feel as the original drawing. Each print is signed in pencil by the artist (me).

This is an unmatted print on bright white, 100lb paper. Prints run with a narrow white border and can easily fit, unmatted, in any standard 11x14, 8x10 or 5x7 frame. Prints look fantastic with a variety of mat colors (purple, blue, green).

This print will be carefully packaged in a protective, sealed plastic sleeve with a backing board and shipped in a photo/document mailer via USPS.

FAQs:

Q: Do you sell framed or matted art?
A: Unfortunately I don't have the capacity to store or ship framed art. I mat and/or frame a few pieces as demos when I do local shows, and a few local shops are nice enough to try to sell them, but online I simply sell the prints themselves. One reason I don't ship frames is that the cost of packing and shipping them is so high - a much nicer frame can almost always be purchased locally, and my prints are standard sizes & easy to pop into a store-bought frame.
I *can* sell you the print and get it on its way asap!

Q: Do you do custom artwork in which the customer selects the prayer/scripture/theme?
A: Yes! Most of the prints I have listed in my shop were customer requests. Depending on how many commissions I have on my plate, the wait is usually about 3 months.

Q: Do you offer larger sizes?
A: Yes! Contact me and I can set up a custom listing for an 18x24 ($45) or 24x36 ($75). These are professionally run on heavy, high-quality poster paper.

Q: How do you personalize the print?
A: I use archival ink art pens to add text or details to an existing print by hand. I do *not* do digital editing, so unfortunately can not remove text or change colors.

Q: How do I request a personalization?
A: Please select the "personalized" version from the list of size options for that print and include the details in the message to seller at checkout. I can create a custom listing for *any* print (most personalizations can be done for $5).

Note: If a personalized version is purchased but the details are not included in a message to seller, I will attempt to contact you via convo or email to get the names/dates that are needed to personalize. If I do not hear back, I will ship the standard/un-personalized version of the print by the Etsy "ship by" date, and arrange a refund of the $5 personalization fee.

Q: Do you sell digital versions of your art?
A: My watercolors don't tend to print well on a home printer, so I don't usually sell the images digitally. Occasionally I will set up a custom order if it's going to be professionally printed on t-shirts, etc, that I can't do - such as for a youth or women's retreat. Convo me if you have something in mind!
