A rather unusual cobbler's piece, this shoe or boot last is one solid piece. It clearly is designed for a cobbler to make what we'd call a Victorian shoe boot or Granny Boot.

Presumably for a child, it is marked with a fancy "2" on the side.

This antique shoe or boot last measures approximately 7 and 1/4 inches tall, and 6 and 1/4 long across the "foot".

The "boot" or calf part is hollow, as you can see in the last photo. (Please ignore our nosy cat!) It measures 2 and 3/4 inches in diameter.

This piece has some signs of age and wear, including a lovely patina and a small chip on the edge (shown in photo).

Since this antique primitive piece is solid and heavy, it could be used as a bookend (for lighter paperbacks) when stood the way a cobbler would use it (foot part up). When stood the other way, the hollow opening could serve as a vase -- lots of creative possibilities!

We always package well & ship with tracking. This antique child's boot last will be shipped boxed, via USPS Priority, with tracking and insurance.

Yes, we do combine multiple items for a combined lower shipping -- however, due to the variety of items we ship, we must do that manually. So just let us know what items you are interested in!
