Revelers in Polar Bear Costumes, Berlin, 1929. It seems that Germany has had a fascination for all things Polar Bear since the early 1900's. While these three costumed bears and one lonely little white poodle are seen strolling down a snowy Berlin street, I also have many other photos of German Polar bears at the beach, on a sleigh ride, cavorting with soldiers and even riding a Vespa in the late '60's. I can find no explanation of this apparent social phenomenon. If anyone does know the answer, please fill me in!

The US postal service does not offer international tracking at any sort of reasonable price, so it is *ship at your own risk*....we have shipped many many international packages without trouble, but if it gets lost in customs or whatever I cannot refund you. I am sorry! If you really want a tracking number/insurance you will have to pay quite a bit extra.

********** MOST of our silk fabric is almost over 50 years old and some MAY have age spots or water stains. Most of our fabric is in great condition, but every piece is from a re-constructed kimono.
