You will need to send us your ready to print file (gang sheet) that includes being sized correctly at 22" wide.

To ensure proper adherence of your UV/DTF transfers, please follow these four straightforward steps.

1. Prepare Your Surface and Pre-Squeegee Your UV/DTF Transfers

Surface Preparation – Prior to applying the UV/DTF transfers, clean the surface of your item using alcohol and microfiber towel. A cleaner surface enhances the durability against natural elements and wear.

Pre-Squeegee – Once you have cut out your UV/DTF design, position it face down with the white side facing upwards. Utilize the padded end of the provided squeegee or a credit card to apply firm pressure, moving back and forth 3-5 times. This action ensures that the design adheres to the clear carrier sheet.

2. Detaching the Clear Carrier Sheet from the White Backing

Begin by making a small tear to separate the clear carrier sheet from the white backing, ensuring you do not tear near the design. Gradually peel the clear carrier sheet away from the white backing, which allows each component of your design to adhere to the clear carrier sheet. If any part does not lift, reposition it, re-squeegee, and attempt to peel that specific area from a different angle. For delicate design elements, such as small text, peel slowly; for larger elements, you may proceed with less caution. You will develop a sense for this as you gain experience with our UV/DTF transfers.

3. Positioning Your UV/DTF on Your Item

Identify the desired placement area on your item. Begin laying down the design from one side to the other. This technique aids in controlling placement, minimizing bubbles beneath the design, and preventing wrinkles in the carrier sheet that could lead to misalignment or overlapping of design elements. Tip: Keep one edge of the carrier sheet lifted for easier handling.

4. Finalizing the Transfer Process

After positioning the design, use the padded end of the squeegee to apply firm pressure over it, moving back and forth 3-5 times. This step ensures proper adhesion to your item. You are now prepared to peel slowly. Pay close attention as you peel to ensure a successful transfer.

If artwork overlaps or artwork is pixelated you are responsible for those issues. We do not know what the artwork is when you send it nor can we check each and every file for overlapping artwork as we are printing 100's of feet per day.
