It's been a long winter so here's the perfect pattern for a warm spring day! This DIGITAL PATTERN is for a Peplum Top, Shorts, Capris and a tiered dress. All are designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl ® dolls. The sweetheart neckline top and dress tie at the shoulders with either fabric ties or ribbons. The front of the top and dress feature a faux front opening with button trim. Both open in the back with hook and loop tape or snaps. The dress can be made with a narrow waist ruffle, a wider peplum or with a plain skirt without peplum or ruffles.

The shorts and capris feature elastic in the back of the waistband for flexible fit and the capris have an optional side slit. The pattern pieces are actual size and instructions include step-by-step photographs to guide you through the construction.

I have tried to make the instructions as clear and detailed as I could, but if you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Basic sewing skills are assumed and the pattern requires a confident beginner to intermediate skill set.

Two files are provided. One file is the pattern only, the second is the instruction file so you only need to print the pattern and can follow the instructions on a tablet or other electronics.

This is a really cute pattern for a summer outfit for your favorite 18-inch doll. The top is surprisingly easy - I expected to have a little trouble with it, but it goes together quite nicely. The capris are not difficult either, and they look really cute with some decorative buttons placed strategically. Pattern pieces are well-marked and directions actually make sense. (I have had a few items that were more puzzle than pattern - very frustrating!) This is a PDF pattern, with immediate download and access as soon as payment is received by the seller. I particularly like the fact that there is no shipping charge. Very pleased with this purchase, and can recommend to anyone with some basic sewing experience.
