Ross Zirkle (1955 – 2007) was a Tamarind Master Printer and artist. Before he passed away this past March to cancer, he had presented his work and craft at over 24 national workshops and conferences in the past eight years and contributed to more than 25 national and international exhibitions a year as well as, several solo exhibitions. His work has been presented at the Hunterdon Museum of Art, The old Print Shop in New York, and The Monique Goldstrom Gallery in NYC to name but a few. He was my partner in art and life for the past 13 years and I would like to share some of his work with my fellow Etsy lovers around the globe.

This is a stone lithograph printed on cream printmaking paper with black ink, using a lithographic stone with irregular edges. There are 15 prints in this edition and you shall receive one of these prints. If you collect a certain print number, let me know and I will try and comply if possible. This print was printed by the artist himself and carries his embossed chop mark as proof. This chop was designed by the artist and is registered with the Tamarind Institute in New Mexico as belonging to the Master Printer, Ross Zirkle. There are fewer than 100 Tamarind Master Printers in the world.
