What if my order arrives damaged?

We package carefully, in 15 years, we can count on one hand the number of packages that have arrived damaged. Vintage prints include insurance. We are working to make sure that insurance is an optional add-on for all books and this is a priority in 2026. If you fine a book w/o this option, send us a message and we will quickly add it to the listing. Keep all packaging, you will likely need to provide images of the packaging and damage to the item. On the USPS website, you can initiate a damage claim. You will be required to make a brief online statement attesting to the damage, and (possibly) provide sufficient photographic evidence of the damage to the insurer. It is up to the insurance company's discretion to accept claims.

I forgot to update the address in my Etsy account! Now what?

If you realize the error prior to receiving a notification that the item has shipped, message me via Etsy right away so that we do not generate a shipping label. You will need to correct the shipping address in your Etsy profile, as Etsy's Terms of Service require us to ship to the address that you have on your prolife. Unfortunately, once a package is shipped out to an incorrect address, there is nothing we can do on our end. Please make sure your address within Etsy is correct before finalizing your order.

What is your return policy?

Returns are only accepted for items not as described. Please contact me within 7 days of delivery. Requests beyond this time will be declined. The item must be returned in the same condition as when we sent it - I.E - "as new", salable condition. Return shipping is at the buyers expense. Refunds will be credited upon our receipt of the item in the same condition as when we shipped it to you. I recommend that you purchase tracking and insurance for the return package, as items lost or damaged during return shipping when not insured cannot be refunded. NOTE: Refunds are for the balance of the purchase less the original shipping (shipping for small items is typically approx. $5).

Where do you acquire all of your great inventory?

Private sales and collections, estates, from other dealers.

The tracking says my order was delivered but I didn't get it...

Sadly, on occasion, the Post Office somehow does this. If the delivery service shows that the item was delivered, your recourse is to print out the tracking information (available in your order history on Etsy) and take it to your post office and present it to the postal agent for them to create an inquiry about the parcel. We are not able to do anything in these cases. Also, note, that even if your order shipped with insurance, being that the Postal Service specifies that the order was delivered, they are unlikely to process a claim.

What happens if an order gets lost?

When an order does not show as delivered and has not shown any activity in the Etsy/USPS shipping tracking system for 30 days, it can be deemed "lost" and a claim can be initiated. All of our prints are insured by USPS via the Ground Advantage shipping we use to ship. You can opt to include insurance with your book order(s). Do note: Should you opt to not include insurance with your book order and it gets lost or damaged, we are not responsible, and refunds are not an option. Insurance claims can be processed online if an item is lost in transit.

Vintage from the 1950s

"The Princess of the Atom" by Ray Cummings, published by Avon in 1950.

First edition.

This is a "very good -" vintage paperback with an intact spine, not cracked or creased, just a hint of a little roll in the upper portion. The text is relatively square and closes flat and tightly. No loose, torn or folded pages, no writing. The covers have some light creasing, more so on the back with most pronounced being on the back lower corner across the authors image (see accompanying images). Text block is tinted on all sides, mostly uniform, with exception being the lower corner where it might be from moisture exposure, nothing visible on the pages themselves. The back cover as some surface rubbing along upper portion by spine and a reddish smudge that looks like it might have been from the publisher.

A really fun vintage gem with amazing period cover art!
