Extra info for the original art work :______________________________________________

Original Materials: Hand made paper, Gouache, SUMI calligraphy ink. Original size: 70x90cm
The poem in the painting is in Japanese, with Hiragana& Kanji characters.
I designed the calligraphy to create a sincere & gentle movement and to harmonize the meaning, color and composition.
The inspiration was the spirit of Sakura cherry blossoms, Wabi-Sabi aesthetic philosophy and a love letter for a sweet bitter romance.

♧Very popular painting for all generations. Would be a wonderful tasty gift for thank-you's, Good-bye's, St.Valentine's day, anniversary, and more.

Such a wonderful artist and a very sweet & thoughtful person. I ordered two of her prints and they were shipped immediately. Both packaged extremely well in thick mailers to prevent any bending. Arrived here in California from Germany in less than 2 weeks. Both prints are gorgeous. The quality is fantastic. Hand signed and dated. We exchanged delightful communication. I bought these as gifts for special people in my life and I know they will love them as much as I do because they are very beautiful and meaningful with so much symbolism and a serene spirituality. My heart is filled with happy gratitude for Rie-san.

This is one of several art prints I bought from Rie-san. She is a talented artist and a very warm person. Contacts were easy from the beginning, she was very helpful in providing a print which at the moment was not available and the shipping was very fast. I love the prints, the beautiful handwritten cards and the little extra gifts. Rie-san’s art is filled with energy and positive vibes and remind me of my beloved Japan at a time when travelling is still very difficult. Thank you very much, Rie-san! Arigato gozaimashita!

This was 1 of the 2 prints I ordered, both arrived very quickly to California from Germany (less than 2 weeks). And packaged very well to prevent any bending. The sweet and talented artist is a wonderful soul and genuinely cares about her clients. The prints are both just as pretty in person, if not more so. High quality ink and paper, hand signed and dated. I’ll be framing both prints and giving them as gifts to some special people in my life. Each piece in her collection of art carries so much symbolism and deeper meaning, which is why they make super personal and touching gifts. Thank you, Arigato, Danke. You’re the sweetest, Rie-san!

日々是好日 is a popular Japanese saying, commonly featured as a hanging scroll in tea ceremonies. It asks us to appreciate and live out each day. I quite like this saying, happen to have gone to tea classes and also happen to have watched a recent movie of the same name. Other Japanese sayings that I enjoy are 和顔愛語 and 一期一会。
