Includes a mini history of tiki bar culture and music, with notes on a few of the cocktail glasses used, 29 tiki cocktail recipes (w/variations), 14 food recipes (w/variations). Many recipes call for multiple rums, fruit, cranberry juice, and orange juice. Not overwhelming, a fun read, and beginner's dip into mixing cocktails for your tiki bar. Get the party rolling with cocktails and some delicious food.
Informative and delightful, includes a classic Mai Tai, Patient Zero Zombie, and our own inventions, such as the Pink Muumuu, Strawberry Stingray, and Upside Down Parrot, along with our guests' favorite food requests including Chunky Guacamonkey, Vushi, "that Japanese restaurant" Ginger Carrot Dressing, Grilled Toriniku Skewers, Cayenne Brownies, and more!
By "tiki bar", we mean old-school faux Polynesian and South Pacific lounges with an exotica vibe that started in the 40's. So get lei'd, set the mood with the proper music (find out what tiki lounge music is best in the book - it's not yacht rock), and make some easy, delicious food and cocktails that will have your guests asking for the recipes...and don't forget the tiki mugs!

BOWLS: clean w/damp cloth, NO dishwasher!
SILKS: handwash in cold water (you may see some excess dye that did not bond with the silk in the water, your scarf will still be as vibrant as ever). You may steam stubborn wrinkles, be sure the silk is damp if you iron it!

I do not offer gift wrapping. Items are wrapped carefully/neatly. I will gladly include a special note if you wish, just send me a message when you order.

Very thorough book with a short bio of the artist and history on the tiki drink! Very nice illustrations from the artist herself that goes along with the drinks, and a healthy, mixed selection to enjoy for many years! The book was shipped on time and arrived with no damages at all.
