Description

I believe that our clothes should be pure, free from chemicals & dyes and made in such a way that they reduce their impact on the environment. I strive to meet these values by purchasing raw, organic cotton, grown in Texas or North Carolina and making them into socks here in America.

Before the cotton arrives:
- It's certified USDA Organic (no pesticides, GMOs, or chemicals were used)
- It's combed for softness
- It's ringspun for even more softness

Once I get the cotton:
- I use seamless knitting in the toe section to reduce irritation
- The heel is shaped to fit your foot
- I blind stitch the opening (using Organic Cotton Thread)
- They're sent out in biodegradable mailers
- No water, dyes, bleach, salt or chemicals are used
- I pay a wind power company for my electricity.

Once you get them:
- They'll get softer after washing, as agitation frees up the fibers
- You can compost them because they're 100% natural cotton

FAQ:
How should I wash it? regular wash is fine. Personally, I cold wash everything.
Will they shrink? Yes, I knit them slightly oversized to account for shrink.
I wear a half size; should I go up or down a size? Down
Without elastic, will they fall down? No. In wear trials, only the crew height fell, so I just make ankle. As a result, I don't make crew socks.
