Highlights
Vintage Real Palomino Mink Stole by an unknown maker.
This is a very well made stole with a pretty, unusual fur tone. Its a sort of silvery taupe colour, not quite sapphire, but not far from it.
The fur is soft and clean and the lining is fully attached and complete. There is a monogram on a wing.
The stitching is exquisite - almost elfin. The stoles made in the UK in the 1950's, 60s and 70s are outstanding, and I doubt the world will ever see the like again, since the creation of fur stoles is practically a lost art.
The only damage I've been able to find are a handful of very faint faint marks on the lining.
The tails are in fantastic condition, and can easily be removed or attached as they are attached to a strip of fabric with metal poppers.
66 by 14 inches at the longest and widest. The tails are 8 inches long approx.
From a non-smoking home with no pets. Stole displayed upon a UK Size 12 mannequin.
American Mink is not an endangered or vulnerable species and is free to trade worldwide.
