Description

This unique, bead embroidered bib necklace was created for the Etsy BeadWeaver challenge of May 2014 with the theme "How Unusual".
Please visit our team blog, http://www.etsy-beadweavers.blogspot.com between the 9th and 15th of May and vote for your favourite entry.

Something unusual? - I can do unusual and if you like a statement piece of jewelry that will get every conversation going this is the necklace for you.

The glow-in-the-dark cabochons used as eyes measure approx. 5 cm (2 inch) x 3,5 cm (1 3/8 inch) and are 1,5 cm (1/2 inch) thick. They are surrounded by seed beads in various sizes and colours as well as bugle beads. One big and three smaller Haematite stars offer an additional focus point and the green of the eyes is repeated in the surrounding of these stars. More Haematite coloured seed beads form the edge of the bead embroidered part and that theme continues with the Haematite lentil beads and and a chain in the same colour.
Backed with a soft black material the necklace is comfortable to wear and not as heavy as it looks.
Between tips where the chain is attached the necklace measures 17 cm ( 6 5/8 inch) and in the middle where the biggest star sits the width is almost 8 cm (3 inch).
19 cm (7 1/2 inch) of chain either side complete the ensemble and a 7,5 cm (almost 3 inch) extender chain allows for adjustments according to your neck and wardrobe.
All together this necklace will fit a neck circumference of up to 60 cm (23 1/2 inch).

Returns and exchange details

Returns:
Please note that earrings are - for hygiene reasons - excluded from returns.

If it is a case of "I don't like it. / I have changed my mind." the item must be returned straight away (within 21 days of arrival) at your cost. It must be in the original packaging and must not be worn! You will get the refund (inc. the original P&P if applicable) once I have received the item.
It is advised that you obtain proof of postage and insurance from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent), so you can put in a claim should the item not arrive at my end. I can not be held responsible for returned goods lost on the way.
If you are returning goods from overseas (i.e outside of the EU) you MUST clearly mark the package as "RETURNED GOODS". Failure to do so will unfortunately mean that any tax/customs charges payable on arrival back here will be deducted from the refund.

I take great care when packing an item. Still, should a piece reach you damaged contact me straight away (with a picture of the damage where possible) and we get it sorted out.

Shipping policies

All items come in a gift box/organza bag (as stated in the individual listing) and with care instructions.
I try to recycle and reuse as much outer packaging as possible (padded envelopes etc.). Should you not wish to receive your item in such packaging - please let me know.

I am still updating shipping costs after our move from the UK to Germany and details on the available services will be posted here asap.

As all my items vary in size and value, I find it difficult to estimate the postage prices. If you were charged considerably more than I end up paying, the difference will be refunded.

--- Important ---
I will send to the address provided by Etsy. Please check it and make sure it is current - I don't take responsibility if it's wrong.

I'll let you know as soon as the item is on its way :)
Please allow 1 week within Germany and 3 weeks for international post to arrive. Should your item not have arrived by then, please contact me so I can start enquiries.

Additional policies

I am open to enquiries about custom-orders, but please make sure you allow time for pieces to be finished. I don't hold much stock of beads and might have to order certain colours/types myself.
Once the details are clear I'll set up a custom listing for you to purchase and send you the link. I start the work once the purchase is made and payment cleared. The payment might not be refundable - depending on the item and my chances of selling it otherwise - unless the item is faulty.
