♡ The sweetest mid- rise mini skirt with built in shorts! Featuring a relaxed fit throughout the waist and hips, with a comfortable self-enclosed elastic waistband. The front and back yokes paired with the flounce ruffle skirt creates depth and movement, while the slight flare allows for the shorts to subtly peek through!

♡ The Pixie Ruffle Mini Skort is suitable with a variety of light - mid weight woven non-stretch fabrics. Depending on the look you’re wanting to achieve, a stiffer material such as cotton, cotton blends, linen, chambray, or denim will create a fuller garment; while a delicate material such as satin, chiffon, or tencel will create a flowy and draped garment. - Choose the correct PDF format for your printer / paper size.
- Sizing is grouped by layers, you have the option to print only the layer with your specific size for easy viewing and precise cutting.
- Once the pattern file is open in Adobe Acrobat, click on the ‘Layers’ tab on the left-hand side. Toggle between the visibility icons, leaving only the size needed. Be sure to have your ‘size’ & ‘piece info’ visible.
- Do not print entire documents. See page 5 for the page layout guide
- Print at 100% scale, with ‘auto’ orientation. Use the measurement scale provided on the first page to confirm printing has been done correctly.
- Trim and line up the edges of the sheets of paper in alphabetic & numeric order and tape together. Once finished, cut out each pattern piece separately.

It‘s a cute sewing pattern. I‘ve added waistband to it rather than folding two layers of fabric over. This also makes the skort a bit longer to exactly the lenght I envisioned. The video tutorial is great and detailed, I loved how different ways of hemming a round curve were explained as I personally struggle with the rolled hem foot. 100% recommend the pattern!

I wasn't sure what to expect since I wasn't familiar with Jenn as a pattern maker. The listing however seemed like exactly what I was looking for and the pattern testers photos and Jenn's videos looked great. I have to give big props to this totally unexpected and random pattern. I think that the instructions were really great and comparable to some of my favorite pattern designers. I thought it provided all of the details I needed. I love the skirt I made! The sizing came out larger than expected and I ended up cutting extra fabric out of the sides but it was super easy to do. It has been a while since I made the pattern and I honestly don't quite remember why the sizing was off (if I followed measurement exactly or perhaps made a mistake). All in all a big thumbs up!
