A Collection of Bird Engravings and Paintings
The bird illustrations in this collection are the work of the most talented artists and ornithologists of their time. The original engravings and paintings, skillfully reproduced in this collection, are from the 1600’s through the 1800’s, including the era of John James Audubon. The originals are kept in specialized galleries and libraries where they are kept under controlled conditions, away from varying light, temperatures, and public view.
