This watch is a little less than 2” in diameter ( 50 mm). It’s depth is less than 1/2 “ (13mm).
The producer is Molnija.
My family got into the watch business in 1990 importing watches. The company name was Timepeace of Beverly, Farms, Massachusetts.
There are still quite few watches in inventory, of all types of mechanical watches. They function perfectly since they have been carefully taken care of. Since there were no batteries to go bad and destroy the movements, a simple wind starts them going again after all these years. They were created at the pinnacle of watch making where many years of progressive refinement worked out any weaknesses in the designs.
There are many thousands of our imports that are still working well today.
