REFUNDS: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me within 14 days of receipt of your item/s to discuss. I will refund your purchase price, (less shipping if "change of mind" or non-payment of non-EU importation fees applies), once the item is returned to me in the same condition and packaging in which it was sent, using a postal service with online tracking as I cannot refund lost items. Exceptions to this are CUSTOM orders which may be too unique or personalized for general sale, and EARRINGS (as these come into close contact with pierced skin hence are considered "intimate"). For these purchases please contact me to discuss, and I do reserve the right to not accept these items for refund in some circumstances.
LOST IN TRANSIT: For items lost or damaged in transit, I need to file a USPS claim for reimbursement, and will need customer cooperation to do so. USPS does not consider a domestic package "lost" until 30 days from date of entering the postal system. You may need to fill in and submit an official form to USPS so that I can resend / refund costs. For items stolen from your property after delivery, you the customer must alert your Post Office and / or local police as that is beyond the scope of a seller, and refunds are not given in thees cases as it is the customer's responsibility to provide a safe place for delivery of mail.
PAYPAL PURCHASES: For orders that have been purchased via PayPal, there will be a 50 cent per transaction deduction from refund upon return / cancellation, to cover the non-refundable transaction fee which PP imposes upon sellers.
CANCELLATIONS: I am often able to package and ship items very shortly after I have received the order, hence the short cancellation period. That said, If you request a cancellation on an item which has already SHIPPED, please contact me so that I am aware, as I can suggest options. Karen Hills tribe handcrafted fine silver from Thailand is 95 - 99% pure silver.
Gold filled is 1/20th by weight layer of 14K gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. Tarnish resistant, gentle on sensitive skin, it is a fine metal and doesn't flake off like gold plate.
JEWELRY CARE
Over time, sterling silver undergoes a natural oxidation process caused by exposure to air. To remove tarnish, use mild soap, warm water and a soft brush or cloth, or a gentle silver cleaning cloth from Flaunt or hobby stores. Avoid harsh abrasive silver polishes or chemical dips.
Avoid exposing jewelry to bleach or to chlorine in swimming pools / hot tubs or wearing pieces to swim, shower, exercise or sleep. Store gently cleaned, dry jewelry in separate little zip lock plastic bags to protect it from air and avoid entanglement. The worst place to keep jewelry is unprotected in a bathroom; high humidity speeds up tarnish.
