The stones are gem quality, conflict free, natural blue topaz and natural genuine tanzanite.It is light purple or lavender. They are beautiful together. Since they are set in sterling silver tubes, they do appear a little darker than they in would in prongs or an open setting.
I carved the shape out of the band and then soldered the settings in. They are secure. :)

The band is about 4.5mm wide and is very smooth now. I am happy to make one with facets or hammered. I really like the subtle flat hammering.

All metal is .925 sterling silver from reclaimed/recycled sources. It is eco friendly and guilt free.
The stones we use are all ethically mined/made and cut, Fair Trade and guilt free as well. :)

I can make a similar ring in yellow gold too. I do suggest using silver or white gold for the setting because yellow will make the tanzanite look a little bit brown probably, and will make the topaz appear green - which would still be pretty, come to think of it.
