FREE SHIPPING! Ooak mixed media shadow box that I created using Johnny Gruelle's original 1931 illustration from the cover of the book, Raggedy Ann and Cookie Land. I printed the image of Raggedy Ann and Andy on acid free card stock, cut it out in detail, and applied it to a background with sky imagery (blue sky with white fluffy clouds) and used foam squares to give a 3D effect.. I added fabric striped pinwheels (2 red and 1 black) and black shoe buttons and string to make it look like Raggedy Ann is holding fanciful balloons. I added a multi-color butterfly and dragonfly and then brass toadstools, a brass bee and brass dragonfly to add to the 3D effect. I've decorated the outside of the white shadow box with red frilly ribbon and tan ribbon with red accents and added a bow on top for added dimension. Finally, each outside corner of the shadow box is adorned with a red striped pinwheel with a 3D white pearly flower with a gold colored ball on top (formerly ear rings). This is ready to hang on the wall and measures 10 3/4" square X 2 1/2" deep. With the bow, it is 12 1/2" tall.
