I hand drew this etching in pencil on a hard ground (this is a hard coating on the zinc plate. Where I draw, the lines for the print are made in reverse, the print is then hand cranked by me through a heavy Rochart press and the image comes out the correct way round).
I printed this just yesterday, both in a "warm red" and in "cobalt" on Arches 300gsm etching paper. This one is fresh off the press. So far I have only done one print in each colour. I hope to add others to the series.
Size of the print is 4 inches by about 3, with a margin of paper around that. The paper is acid-free, which means it will not fade with age. It's an off-white colour as I felt it worked best with the colours of the print.
Do please convo me with any questions about this print and I'll do my best to answer them.
