Description

Stock your coffers, trade with Goblins, shower your favorite Midsummer Games competitors and support Fairyblossom Festival all with Fairy Coyne! https://fairyblossomfestival.com/

Here's how it works:
--Purchase your unflattened Official Fairy Coyne here. They will come in a little baggie with story and instructions on how to play.

--Take your Coyne to the Dwarven Forge (the blacksmith) at the Fairyblossom Festival 2018 (Red Hawk Avalon, Pe Ell, WA) Ask the blacksmith to kindly to flatten your dross and turn it into Fairy Coyne.

Your Coynes are your Points!! Only realm-marked coynes are official:
--You may trade human coin for Faery Coyne at the Royal Treasury.

--You may trade your own, unflattened bottlecaps for Faery Coyne at a rate of 2-to-1.

--You may play games to win coynes. You may keep them as souvenirs. You may trade with anyone and everyone, barter wares, do silly tasks, bribe others, give them to the performers on stage or at Bardic, your friends, or otherwise trade and exchange your metals however you please!

--You may choose - or refuse - to give them to the Faery Court of your liking: Seelie or Unseelie!

--The Midsummer Games are all about the competition between the two fairy courts. Each court has the goal of collecting as many coynes as they can over the weekend. On the last day they shall be counted and the court with the most riches wins the Grand Pennon!

Red:1 point, Orange: 2 points, Yellow:3 points, Green: 4 points, Blue: 5 points, Purple: 6 points, Pink: 7 points

THE STORY OF FAIRY COYNE

You’ve heard the old adage: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” It is said for a reason. What humans consider garbage, the Fae find valuable. Trinkets, baubles, broken bits, cast-off scraps and spare parts - they call it Dross.

Folklore tells us that the Fae folk do not like cold iron. Some may even have deathly allergy to it. Thus the shining host fashion their tools and armor out of other metals, such as tin, nickel and steel.

In your very hands you hold a bag of Dross! Bottlecaps now, yet with a few swings of the blacksmith’s hammer, eureka! Your bottlecaps are transformed into faery coyne! Once you have your Dross you may trade your metals with the Fae for toys, games and prizes galore!
