Description

My first book "Veltinis" that was published in 2008 and then revised in 2010 (in Lithuanian) is now available in English.

This is a revised English version of a popular Lithuanian book “Veltinis” (“Felt”) by fibre artist Vilte Kazlauskaite. The new edition is full of technical tips and inspiring illustrations of Lithuanian felt makers’ works. It reviews the origin of felt, the nature of felt and wool. The book introduces different felting techniques - wet felting, nuno felting, cobweb felting, 3D felting, it also gives a short introduction to needle felting and knit felt. There are a lot of tips and tricks, a lot of attention is paid to decorative surface of felt, and the book also encourages mixing of techniques, improvising and experimenting. The book is filled with beautiful photos of 13 felt makers’ work. It is not just a technical book; it is a source of inspiration and reference for anyone in love with the felt technique.

Payments

Secure options
  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
I usually expect payments to be done in 24 hours after your purchase. If you have problems with it, please contact me and we will try to complete your transaction in a best way for us both.

If you would like to pay in several times, please contact me beforehand for splitting the payment. Maximum term for payment is up to 3 months. Please note that items purchased in split payments can not be returned.

Paypal payments are accepted. You can pay by your credit card as well if you don't have Paypal account. (The instructions can be found here http://www.etsy.com/storque/how-to/how-to-pay-with-a-credit-card-and-create-a-paypal-account-746/ ).
If you reside in European Union, you can also pay by bank transfer. If you reside in Russia, you can use Contact or Unistream transfers as well.

Your purchase is shipped when the payment is received and withdrawn to the bank account. I will let you know about the plans of shipping your item or you should receive an automatic message from Paypal with your tracking number after the item is shipped (usually in 3 business days after purchase).

Returns & exchanges

If you are in any way unhappy with your purchase, please contact me within 2 business days after receiving the item. If you decide to return the item, it must be posted within those 2 days too. It must be returned unused, in its original packaging. I will refund you via Paypal, minus the cost of shipping (I list only symbolic prices for shipping on Etsy and bear the higher shiping prices myself. Please note that if you return the item, a real postage price will be subtracted from your refundable amount and not the symbolic price listed on Etsy. Shipping receipt could be emailed for you as a proof) and Etsy fees. You will also pay the cost of shipping the item back and if you declare it not as a gift and mark a high value of the parcel, consequently I have to pay customs fees for the item you are returning, customs fees will also be deducted from your refundable amount. Any refund will be made ONLY after I receive the item back.
The refund would be issued by Paypal, but please note that if there are not enough funds in my Paypal account at a time, you will be asked to wait for your refund until I get some income to my Paypal account as Paypal doesn't withdraw money for refunds from bank accounts in Lithuania.
Please note that items purchased in split payments and discounted items can not be returned unless agreed otherwise beforehand.

Please understand that I can not be held responsible for delays in post work or lost parcels. But I tend to cooperate with the buyer and find a best sollution for any problem that appears.
If your item is lost in transit, I would offer you store credit, but only after I get the confirmation from the post that the parcel is really lost. It takes 30-90 days to get such confirmation.

Shipping policies

All items are shipped via registered priority airmail. If you would like the item to be shipped as evaluated parcel, please inform - fees apply. If you have a FedEx or other courier company account, your item can be shipped in express way, but you'll be covering all shipping fees.

Shipping usually takes 5-28 days, depending on your location. Please be patient as it usually depends on the work of customs (there might be delays because of bad weather, slow customs works, changed policies, high security at the Customs, etc). The parcel is considered as delayed only when it is not delivered to you in 30 days. Then I can fill in the complaint about the delayed parcel at the post office (see refunds and exchanges section).

Please note that I will always ship to the address given by Etsy. If you want me to ship to a different address, please indicate this in your Message to Seller. I am not responsible for packages that are undelivered because the address given by the buyer through Etsy is inaccurate.

Any customs duties and taxes if any are the buyer's responsibility.

Additional policies

I accept custom orders as well. Please contact me if you have any idea or suggestion.
