This listing is for a signed and dated 13x19" Giclée print. Each print includes a hand written signature (front), and printed edition number and title (back). Every edition is created and reproduced by the artist, not a third party manufacturer. The total print size of each edition in this series is 19x13” and includes a colorful high definition subject on a crisp white background.

Design

Each edition uses high definition photographs of the artist's original sculptures as a point of departure. The initial images are taken at the time of construction or completion of the sculpture. Each image is then formatted, cropped and edited to create a 'surrealist natural history' print. Both the sculptures and the prints are produced by the artist, Ellen Jewett. Although rooted in the mediums of photography and sculpture, the prints represent an artistic exploration in their own right and have a strong graphic quality. Through digital print media the artists seeks to explore and reflect back upon the human cultural construction of the animal, nature and 'wildness'.

Production and Care

Each edition is printed using archival ink on unbleached, naturally white, acid and lignin-free premium bamboo paper. The paper feels soft, dense and has a nice weight (290gsm). Bamboo is recognized as a highly renewable and environmentally friendly form of fiber production. The paper is of highest possible quality and is designed to meet gallery and museum longevity requirements. Additionally bamboo is strong and versatile; should your print accidentally be creased at any time it can be misted with water and ironed to a crisp flatness. Ethic and quality are integral to the spirit of this artwork.

Shipping

This print can be safely shipped worldwide. Unless requested otherwise orders will be shipped in the following manner;

+Canadian orders will be shipped flat via regular parcel (Expedited) post (6-8 business days and includes tracking)

+American orders of 1-3 prints will be lightly rolled and sent by Small or Tracked Packet US (7 business days and usually includes tracking, but this can depend on your location. If you absolutely require tracking let us know)

+American orders of 4 or more prints will be shipped flat via Expedited post (4-6 business days and includes tracking)

+International orders will lightly rolled and sent by Small Packet Air (8-10 business days average, but countries vary)
