I handmake these unique, asymmetrical sterling silver stud earrings from the offcuts of silver sheet left over from cutting out other designs.

This listing is for ONE stud, unless you choose otherwise in the drop-down 'Number of Earrings' menu.

Each one is cut freehand, and is therefore completely unique - no two shapes will ever match or be exactly the same.

They are perfectly imperfect.

Once I cut them out, I file off any rough edges or corners, and give them a quick sand before soldering the handmade post onto the back, and giving the whole earring another sand and polish. I tell you, it's a challenge to work on something so tiny!

But it's worth it - these make the perfect 'don't need to think about it' earrings to pop in any time. They may be tiny, but the matte finish catches the light beautifully, and their asymmetric shape gives them a unique look. Their asymmetric nature also makes them a perfect set for those of you who have additional piercings - which is why they're available in quantities of one through to five.

***IMPORTANT - if you want more than one, please take advantage of the 'Number of Earrings' drop-down menu rather than the 'Quantity' menu because it will be much cheaper for you that way.***

The front piece will be under 5mm/1/4 inch wide, and and the post is 1cm long.

These earrings are made in our solar-powered home studio in Australia from ethically manufactured Sterling silver, (which includes a combination of Australian-mined & recycled silver in the manufacturing process). These come with sterling silver butterfly backs as standard, but if you'd prefer clear rubber backs, please just let me know in the message to seller on checkout.

Due to the fact that your ring is a custom design - made to your size - I cannot refund your purchase or accept a return because you gave me the wrong size or simply change your mind.

This is in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. It is your responsibility to give me the correct size upon ordering.

I charge $40 AUD per ring (plus postage) for resizing of my wedding and simple sterling silver bands (stacking sets are more).

So, please make sure to take the time to work out your exact size. Most local jewellers' shops will happily size your finger for you at no charge. I can re-size down as far as necessary, BUT CAN ONLY RESIZE UP ONE FULL US SIZE.

If you receive your wedding band and decide you want a different style or width, I offer a 25% discount on purchase of the new ring IF you return the old one to me. The 75% we keep pays us for the time we spent making the first ring. This is due to the fact that we make each ring in a custom size, and it is exceedingly rare that we are able to resell any of these custom sized rings. We usually end up scrapping them.

As above, we charge for resizing if the original size you gave us was incorrect. If we made an error in sizing (i.e. you gave us a size but we didn't make to that size) we resize for free.

Sterling silver jewellery naturally takes on a blackish tarnish over time in reaction with air.

When you receive your piece of sterling jewellery it may have black tarnish spots - these are easily removed!

You can either buy a silver-cleaning cloth, or simply use some toothpaste on a cloth or brush - gently rub at the tarnish, then wash and dry to bring back the super-shine!
