Incredible antique illustration from the Victorian era, circa 1900s, done in watercolors by physician-artist Louis Crucius. These were done for The Antikamnia ("Opposed to Pain") Chemical Company of St. Louis, Missouri who produced these from (1897-1901). The limited edition calendars were mailed to physicians who provided business cards or letterhead correspondence as evidence of their medical standing.
