Summertime is hot in the South. Families headed for the woods and lakes during the summer holidays. Marie Grace or Cecile (or any American Girl Doll) will be appropriately dressed for this outdoor adventure in her complete picnic ensemble. The outfit includes a pinafore, blouse, petticoat, bloomers, hat and picnic basket.

The pinafore is made from blue checked gingham, trimmed with white baby rickrack. The straps are sewn onto the waist band and trimmed with buttons. The pinafore is fully lined and had a Velcro closure.

The blouse, petticoat and bloomers are made from a printed cotton and trimmed with heart lace. The blouse is fully lined and closes in back with velcro. The petticoat and bloomers have elastic in the waist.

The straw hat and straw basket are painted white and decorated with blue ribbons. Even though they are new, they have been "stressed" to look as if they have been used.

The Doll and Shoes are NOT included.
