sterling silver wire, natural pink andesine, untreated stone

Rare Congolese Pink Andesine is a natural stone that is of the Feldspar group. Although it is termed a "pink", the color is closer to a pale peachy red. This beautiful stone is 11x9mm oval cut and weighs 3 carats. The stone was purchased in 2004, and was represented to me as untreated. I mention this only because of the controversy that has surrounded the red andesine stones. There is controversy and confusion as to which feldspar stones are classified as andensin. Even though both stones are feldspar, Andesine is composed of 50% to 70% albit and 30% to 50% anorthite, and Labradorite is 30% to 50% albite and 50% to 70% anorthite, so do not be confused by what some have termed andnesine-labradorite.
To my knowledge, this one is untreated.

The wrapped setting is executed in a fine gauge sterling silver wire in a delicate and intricate style. This is a size 7 and cannot be resized.

INFORMATION RE: SPECIAL CUSTOM ORDER SALE FOR SEPTEMBER:
Because of the nature of One of a Kind Designs, One must take into consideration that some styles may be done in a similar style to some that are already listed, and others may have quite a bit of variation. Thus, custom prices vary on most orders because of variance in the cost of materials required and time required to complete the designs.

Once you place your custom order request, I will individually compute the price for you.

IMPORTANT: If you are wanting to include a natural gemstone that I have in stock, it's price will be computed in the cost of the piece, and the discount applied to the total.

If you want a particular stone that I do not currently have in stock, I will search the best price I can find for you, and will add the hours required in finding the stone and the shipping costs to the wholesale price of the stone for you in computing the basic price of your piece. This will be presented for approval before you finalize the order of the custom piece. And the estimated time to produce the work will be submitted as well.

I never begin physical work on the piece until it is paid in full.
Contact me through the custom order button to begin the process. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
