Ever felt the overwhelming desire to make a beautiful Princess fall asleep for a very very long time because no one invited you to her birthday party? Ever thought that being able to turn into an evil dragon would be the coolest thing ever? Ever wanted to wear a warm, black, crochet hat with ridiculously long, curvy horns? Well, this hat can help with one of those!

This hat will fit an adult head of approximately 19 - 22 inches in circumference. Be sure to measure your head just above your ears. The horns will droop if the hat is too big. Feel free to look at my other listing for other sizes, or send me a custom request!

Made with 100% acrylic yarn.

The production time was really short, and the shipping time was short too. Only a little over a week to get to me. It's absolutely amazing! I love it. Adjusting the visor is a matter of trial and error, but now that I have that done it's absolutely perfect. Undoubtedly a five star product. Actively promoting to my friends and family. (Yes, they're all as weird as me and will want knit helmets!) Don't be worried by the knit buttons like I was. They are way more durable then I originally thought they would be. I don't plan to take this thing off very often. ^_^

MOST AMAZING HAT EVER. Personally, I love all things dorky and cheesy - and this hat takes the cake! It wasn't difficult at all to figure out how to custom fit the visor and this hat is now a perfect fit for my dorky head. I am thrilled to have found something to keep my face warmer in the colder winter months, especially because this product is also incredibly awesome. Well worth the price, and I can't wait to show it off! This is already my favorite winter hat ever and I only just got in the mail yesterday. This should really get 10 stars total for the sheer creativity and excellent execution that was put into this.

Tbh I feel like I wasted 6.50. The horn pattern was so hard to follow, if you are buying this for concise instructions dont. The horns are basically a simple cone you shape yourself by pulling yarn through. I bought the pattern to save myself time on a custom order and ended up 6.50 in the whole, with a bunch of wasted yarn and having to find my own way to make the horns.

Response from Serena Gunter

Hello! I am sorry that you found the horns of this pattern to be difficult to make. Please know that you could have contacted me at any time for assistance. All my patterns are tested by experienced crocheters that give me feedback on how simple or difficult they are, and this one received a rating of "beginner, but some parts may be more difficult for some beginners", so I feel confidant that I could have assisted you with any questions you may have had about working the pattern. Other suggestions for designing the horns yourself(that worked for me) would be to just shape a long simple cone and then use wire inside to be able to bend the horns to whatever shape you liked. I hope the rest of the hat pattern worked for you. Thank you for your feedback. ~Manic Milliner
