Item details

Vintage from before 1700

This lot consists of four different size rough made Pre-Columbian beads/pendants from Mexico.

The penates, beads, ear flares, spindle whorls, figurine heads and agate polishing stones I have were all purchased at an estate sale at the home of the late Marguerite Verley. She was a retired Professor who taught Anthropology at Daley College in Chicago for 33 years. She traveled extensively on archaeological digs, many times to Mexico. These stone beads are from her personal collection of items she acquired on the digs in Mexico.

These pieces make excellent focal beads in jewelry.
