FREE SHIPPING! I created a 3D collage inside a glass fronted black 8" square shadow box that is 1 3/4" deep. The first 2 photos and the 5th photo are without the shadowbox so that you can see the art work without the nuisance of the glare from the glass. I used a reproduction Art Nouveau glitter card of Czech artist Alphonse Mucha's "Byzantine" and then replicated elements of the design multiple times on acid free pearly white cardstock and cut out the elements in detail. I found a perfect background scrapbook page and then built the 3D collage on top using foam squares. To further increase the 3D effect, I used brass embossed butterflies, flowers, and a large swirled feather. I call this "Byzantine Princess." It can be displayed in a stand or hung on the wall and has a sawtooth hanger for that purpose. I hope you enjoy this collage box as much as I enjoyed making it! It is one of a series, so please take a look at my other Mucha shadow boxes. I've signed this piece.
