Grown in the California North Central Valley, this heirloom seed variety of cotton has been preserved. Grown in a light sage green, and earthy beige, this cotton need not be dyed.

This two ply bulky weight yarn weighs over 6 oz., measures 72 yards, and is artistically spun, moving in an out of three color combinations- beige, sage, and beige\/sage blend.

It will make an outstanding children's scarf and hat.

This seed variety is not new to the America's- dating back 4500 years, cotton was often grown in color, and people do this day, are, cross breeding, and perfecting these beautiful colors.

Organic, hearty, local (to my region), -- your purchase will support a wonderful woman farmer who cares deeply for her land and her fiber crop, and a devoted fiber artist whose aim is to provide healthy and beautiful eco-materials for your art practice and clothing making endeavors!
