Description

Very pretty and in very fine shape except for one nasty largish flake-like chip on the rim (last photo) that someone carefully painted with an enamel paint. It is impressed with a marking that I cannot make out and a few numbers. The marking looks like a man or satyr with crossed legs and long hair. I would guess this is German or French and probably an antique piece because i bought it from an estate packed with antique German porcelain. It looks French too. It is so clean looking that I even wonder how old it is, although the impression makes me think it may be original to the era or at least to the 20''s, I really can;t say or guarantee it's age. If you recognize the marking, please let me know.

Outside of the chip, there are few dark spots and scuffs on the inside, the base and rim, but no crazing, and looks like it had never been used for a plant. General signs of wear just from being old including scuffs on the inside. I really can't tell the material but feels like a finer quality ceramic.

Smaller sized. Measures a little less than 7" tall and 8.25" diameter at rim.

I don't do returns or exchanges so please convo any questions or concerns and review photos..
