"My Needle Is Sharp…"

I stitched this pattern model onto my hand dyed Cupboard Cloth (osnaburg) using one strand of floss over 2 threads of cloth ~ the cloth resembles old, homespun cloth and have an un-even weave of approx. 32ct linen…
I chose to make a small, sawdust filled sewing pillow for my finish, where I could keep my threads and tuck in my pins & needles…also wrap my scissors onto it with some ribbon.

the verse reads:
My Scissors are sharp and My Hands Swift"…motifs include a basket of flowers and date ~ and also included on the graph is a specialty stitch: Eyelet Stitch
I backed my pillow with cotton fabric and added a patch of velvet to close…(not included w/ purchase) but wanted to show you how prett the back is ~
