This was in terrible condition. It was listed as excellent condition, wear consistent with age. However, it was false advertising. It should have said "fair condition." It had the gold worn off. I purchased it to go with another matching cut and it pales in comparison with the other one. Very disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. Upon review and consideration, we stand behind our evaluation of this original antique item made in Germany between the year 1900 and 1909. The items used for comparison may not have received an authentic professional appraisal and could be a reproduction. The item sold via our Etsy shop was evaluated by a professional appraiser and is over 100 years old. There were no chips or cracks located on the tea cup or saucer. The condition is rated as excellent and the wear found on the item is consistent with use and age. Clear pictures were included in our advertisement to show the true condition of the antique tea cup and saucer. We would like to thank you again for your purchase and hope that we can exceed your expectations as a satisfied customer in the future.
    Best regards, Kurt Costello
