Want your GeekTags purchase wrapped up and ready for gift-giving, and even sent directly to the recipient?

Add this listing to your cart with the purchase of any GeekTags keychain(s) and your recipient will receive their gift in a sturdy box wrapped in red and white twine with a note from you attached, at no additional shipping charge (if purchased with a keychain).

The keychain itself will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper before being placed in the cotton-lined box. The gift will then be mailed in an upgraded, waterproof blue bubble mailer for that little extra surprise in the mailbox.

Purchase instructions:

~ If shipping directly to the recipient, make sure you use their ship-to address at checkout.

~ Please make sure you specify what you'd like the attached "especially for you" note to say in the "Note to GeekTags" box at checkout (at the very least, specify who it's from!). The note will be handwritten by me.

~ A receipt will not be mailed with the order unless you specifically request it (a gift receipt, which does not include payment or purchase amount information, may be requested as well).

~ Several keychains will fit nicely in one box without overcrowding. Each keychain will be individually wrapped in tissue paper.

~ If you are purchasing more than one keychain, but they're not all gifts, please specify which keychain(s) you'd like placed in the gift box. The remaining keychain(s) will be packaged separately but within the same shipment.

~ A maximum of 3 gift boxes may be sent in one shipment. If more than 3 gift boxes are needed please send me a note and we'll work something out.

~ If PRIORITY mail is selected as the shipping option, the blue mailing envelope will not be included -- the gift will ship in a Priority bubble mailer instead.

~ If this listing is purchased without the purchase of a keychain, you will receive an empty box wrapped in twine with the note, at regular shipping rates.

It's very important to me that you are happy with your purchase. I try to be as accurate as possible with photos and descriptions, and to capture color and measurements. Though I do my best to make sure letters are aligned, there will be variations from side to side and top to bottom. Please keep in mind that these items are hand stamped (not engraved!) and will not be perfect, and no two pieces will look exactly alike.


★ DAMAGE DURING SHIPPING:

If an order appears to have been damaged while in transit, I will require a picture of the item as well as a picture of the packaging; please don't throw it away until you've taken a picture! This will help me facilitate insurance proceedings.


★ REPLACEMENTS & REFUNDS:

If your purchase does not meet your expectations you may return it for either a replacement or a refund, minus shipping costs. Please see my refunds policy for Custom Items below.

Replacements will only be sent out once the first piece is received by me. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Please contact me within 3 days if there is a problem with your purchase and I will do my best to resolve it.

If a refund is desired, the purchase price minus shipping will be issued promptly upon receipt by me of the merchandise. Merchandise must be sent back unused, in the condition it was sent by me. Buyer is responsible for the shipping charges of returning the merchandise to me. Returned items must be sent back within 7 days of receiving your order. Refunds will not be issued for any merchandise that is sent back to me after 7 days of your initial receipt (the received date shown on delivery confirmation).

If there is an issue with your purchase outside of this time frame, please contact me as soon as possible so we can work out a solution.


★ CUSTOM ITEMS:

Tags will be stamped exactly as instructed within the order. I do not make grammar or spelling corrections in production and do not offer refunds if an order was placed with such an error.

If an error was made on my part I will require a picture of the tag for verification, and a replacement will be sent at my expense.

When I have begun processing your order you will receive a notification from Etsy that your item is scheduled for shipment, with a tracking number. If there is a problem you will be notified immediately. All items are shipped USPS First Class unless Priority shipping is selected at checkout.


★ PRIORITY SHIPPING:

USPS Priority shipping is an option available for US orders at checkout for an additional fee.

Priority shipping applies only to the shipping method, and does not speed up production of your order.

** Please note that I do not refund Priority shipping fees if it takes longer than 2-3 days to reach you. The USPS does not guarantee a delivery within that time frame and I can't either. International: The USPS does not consider International mail lost until 45 days have passed. If your order has not arrived after 45 days and tracking shows that it has not arrived, please contact me to see about a replacement. It may be necessary to use an alternate mailing address.


★ INCORRECT ADDRESS:

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before completing the transaction; I ship to the address you provide via Etsy.

-- If a package is returned because of an incorrect address you will be contacted and will be responsible to pay any new shipping charges, or, if the order was not custom, issued a refund minus the initial shipping charge.

-- Custom orders that are sent to an invalid address and cannot be resold will not be refunded, and will be held until re-shipment payment is made.

-- I do not refund, replace or track down packages shipped to a wrong address unless I am at fault.


★ INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

Shipping is done through the USPS First Class International Mail Service. Insurance and delivery confirmation may not be available with this service to most countries. The customs form tracking number may only notify you that it has left the US and, for many countries, no further tracking information is available. Please note that international orders can take 4-8 weeks to reach you. Countries with stricter customs procedures may take as long as 12 weeks.

-- Customers outside of the US are responsible for any customs fees, VAT, duty, taxes, handling fees and/or costs associated with international orders that your country levies. I do not reimburse for these fees and they are not part of my shipping costs.

-- All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms, and will be marked as merchandise -- no exceptions.

-- If a shipment is refused, I will refund it only once the package is received by me, less all shipping costs and any fees I may incur to get it back.

Your item ships in a padded bubble mailing envelope. If multiple keychains are purchased, pieces will be wrapped in tissue paper to avoid damage during shipment.

My standard production time is 3-5 business days (during the winter holiday season this changes to two weeks). This means within five business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) your order will be made, packaged and in the mail. If it's being sent within the US, shipping usually takes a few more days to arrive. International orders can take up to 8 weeks to arrive.
