Let it be so. Thy truth then be thy dower.
For by the sacred radiance of the sun,
The mysteries of Hecate and the night,
By all the operation of the orbs
From whom we do exist and cease to be—
Here I disclaim all my paternal care,
Propinquity, and property of blood,
And as a stranger to my heart and me
Hold thee from this for ever. The barbarous Scythian,
Or he that makes his generation messes
To gorge his appetite, shall to my bosom
Be as well neighbored, pitied, and relieved
As thou my sometime daughter.

King Lear enjoys absolute power and flattery and doesn’t like being contradicted or challenged. He prefers his older daughters’ flattery to Cordelia. This play is known for its probing observations on the nature of human suffering and kinship.

This handcrafted, textured fine silver pointed crown is bejeweled with iridescent peacock blue-green vintage glass. It holds an oxidized finish with hand polished highlights and soldered loops for stringing the silk ribbon. The crown is 1.5" wide.

The ribbon wrap is 100% luxuriously soft silk and is hand-dyed with hand-sewn edges that taper to a soft point at the ends. The ribbon is 34-36” long and will wrap several times around your wrist.

To wear, just wrap the ribbon around your wrist and tie. The ends can be left loose or tucked beneath the wraps. Knots can be tied along the length to add a bit of detail or adjust the fit. The bracket can be nudged along the ribbon depending on whether you want it to to be centered among the wraps or situated along the top or bottom edge of the bracelet. These are versatile, comfortable, and elegant.

Metal clay work is a very involved handmade process which results in distinct and one-of-a-kind creations. Small variations and imperfections are part of the beauty and charm of this medium, and it can produce stunning results. Once fired, silver metal clay becomes .999 pure fine silver.
