Description

Here’s a mini-tutorial for beginners, or for anyone who would like to sample one of my pattern tutorials for a lower price before diving into a full-on dress or jeans.

I’ve taken just as much trouble to get these little knickers to fit perfectly as I would for any of my more expensive tutorials. They’re a great little garment if you’re a beginner, or if you’re an experienced seamstress who just wants to finish off an outfit with a little pair of knicks for you doll.

This pattern is tailored to Ellowyne Wilde, and it does fit my Luts Kid Delf dolls. However, the knickers are cut as high-legs, so do not hide the ball joint of the resin doll’s thighs.

The PDF pattern piece (page 7) can be printed out on your computer - instructions for doing that are included.

If you’re really struggling to print out your pattern, I offer my customers the option to purchase a hard copy of the pattern - and ONLY the pattern (not the whole tutorial) for just £1.00 plus postage. This offer is only for people who have purchased this tutorial.

Due to high costs of printing ink, I regret I cannot offer a printed version of this whole package.

Your download, after payment, will be in both A4 format AND US Letter format. This way you can choose which format you'd prefer, the European A4, or the US Letter (USL).

Contents:
1) Cover and how to print your pattern PDF
2) ZIP Ell knicks A4
2) ZIP Ell knicks USL

Some of the files are quite large so may take a little time to download.

I hand sew all my doll clothes, and while I can’t see a reason why you shouldn’t use a sewing machine to make the garments, please just bear this in mind when you start to sew. Some tiny details will HAVE to be done by hand.

DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES, I DO NOT MAKE DOLL GARMENTS TO ORDER.

You are welcome to use my patterns to make your own doll clothes to sell. HOWEVER - please respect my copyright, and give credit to Raccoon’s Rags on your sale page. For example it’s okay to write “Handmade by myself, using a Raccoon’s Rags pattern” or even “adapted from a Raccoon’s Rags pattern” But not “My own design”.

I always credit other artisans/designers when I use their patterns or adapt them. They did all the hard work and deserve the recognition.

Many thanks and happy sewing.
