A unisex crochet netted tam in one colour.
Available with elastic or drawstring. Drawstring option recommended for heavier dreadlocks.PLEASE indicate in NOTE to seller YOUR ELASTIC SIZE FOR HAT or if you would prefer a DRAWSTRING.

Ideal for natural hair or dreadlocks.

Wear high up on the head or on the nape of the neck! The most comfortable tam for long locs!

All tams are 23 inches wide at opening. Elastic band is on average 21 inches wide ideal for a head that is 22 inches in circumference. Please choose your elastic option. The elastic options are widths of roughly 21, 22, 23 and 24 inches. Note that you need to order the elastic size 1 or 0.5 inches SMALLER than your head circumference. If you need a wider or smaller elastic size, after measuring your head, please send a note in your order.

Choose Small for locks shoulder length or shorter. Or for children 7-8 depending on length of hair. Size small is 8 inches in height and 10.5 inches in width.

Medium for just passed shoulders to above elbow. or for elbow length dreadlocks that are thin or small in total number. Medium is 9.5 inches in height and 12.5 inches in width. Ideal for children 8-11 with hair of similar length or longer.

Large for elbow to buttocks. Large is 11 inches in height and 12.5 inches in width

Choose XL for locks calf length or very very thick or big dreads. XL is 13 inches in height and 12.5 inches in width.

Worn here is the Large size. For L and XL you should wear your long hair rolled up in a bun. Size L gives a great slouchy fit for those without much hair or short dreads

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Returns and exchange details
I accept returns only on jewelry, clothing and handbags - ONLY IF there is damage to the item when received. Please contact me immediately with a picture of the item so that a solution will be reached on the next step forward.

NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES on custom-made or made-to-order items like loc caps, tams, headwraps, skirts or dresses for hygenic reasons. I'm sorry but it takes a lot of work and imported resources to make all my special items and I request your correct measurements always and I request that you read the sizing information carefully before making a purchase. However, tams, loc caps, skirts or dresses can be sent back to be refitted provided that I have the resources to remake or refit it. Customers will be accountable for return shipping or extra cost to refit however. Please be aware that I have to pay to receive your returned item and it is an added expense I have to shoulder so please be certain of your order when you purchase - READ ITEM DESCRIPTION. You will also agree in sending back to refit, to wait the extra time it will take for it to arrive to me and then back to you which could run to over a month depending on mail.

If you have provided incorrect measurements for a custom-fit or made-to-order item I am sorry but I cannot be held responsible for that. Take the time and be sure about your measurements.
I describe items correctly and require correct measurements so that there are no surprises when they arrive. Please take care to measure your hairline correctly and read the item description for hats vs hair length before making your size selection. If you have tried it on, I cannot resell the hat.

However, whatever the issue you may have with your order, PLEASE send me a message. PLEASE message me before you order if you are unsure of the best size selection for yourself.

If you dislike a purchase talk to me about it respectfully first instead of making a complaint to PayPal or Etsy. Please respect my final decision.

REFUNDS
I offer refunds when items are returned safely to me or if an item has been lost in the mail.
If something is lost in the mail and it cannot be found by tracking, money will be refunded after 10 weeks have passed to better ensure it won't show up as sometimes items get lost in the mail for months at a time, but are delivered.

If an item was not claimed and is returned to me, I will refund or it can be resent with further shipping paid by buyer. I refund minus shipping cost. If the buyer does not respond to my email I will not refund.

​If you have moved and your item was lost I cannot offer a refund.
If you have moved and tracking reveals that the item is at your former post office, unclaimed, I am not responsible!
If you cannot get your former post office to cooperate I am not responsible!

If you want to cancel an order, please try to do it within 24 hours of purchasing to reduce the likelihood of me beginning to make it, or it being shipped and you having to return it to me.

I am a reasonable, respectable and honest person, I just ask all my customers to be the same!

Shipping is usually done within 3-7 days after a purchase is made. Sometimes longer if I have too much orders to process, or if there are public holidays - especially Easter and Christmas times. Customers are always notified of any changes or delays in shipping, by email.
I do not ship from or within the USA so regular rules do not apply. I cannot offer shipping and arrival within four days.
Shipping from Trinidad to the USA, Canada and Europe takes anywhere from 12 to 14 days, but often times from 14-21 days or 2-3 weeks. There isn't a faster service available at a reasonable cost. Sometimes it takes 4-6 weeks for envelopes to arrive - for no apparent reason.
Places that are quite far away from Trinidad such as Jerusalem and Australia will take longer to arrive, around 4-8 weeks in my experience.

If an item has not arrived please contact me at 4 weeks. The longer you take to contact me the harder it will be to track.
I have had packages take 3 and 4 months before it was delivered. Mail service is very unpredictable!


If four weeks have passed I recommend going to your local post office with your tracking number and making an inquiry, often times it is there. If the envelope has not arrived then it is still in transit.

If you want express, please ask me to give an estimate, you can pay the extra cash by paypal invoice.

I use the local regular post - the post office of Trinidad and Tobago - TTPOST. I register the items and receive a tracking number but be warned, the postal corporation doesn't update the tracking information online, So tracking is not possible other than by phone here in Trinidad. Even though items take a while and can't easily be tracked - they do arrive safely! It mainly requires patience on the customer's part.

Sometimes the item arrival takes longer because the customer's post office cannot reach them to have it collected or received, or sometimes mail has really slow yet busy periods. When 3-4 weeks have passed and the item hasn't arrived, I will take the tracking number to the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Service and have it tracked. Usually at this point, either the item is in transit still, delayed in customs or the customer just needs to go down to their post office and pick it up. Sometimes the item has been returned because the buyer was not available to receive from post man, or never came to post office to collect by notification.

Please note that your mail CAN get lost if you move to another address while an order is in transit to your old address! I WILL NOT be held accountable for this! That would be the fault of your mail service not mine or the post office in Trinidad.

You must either be home to accept the envelope, or go to the post office with the notification they left for you. I cannot say which one you will have to do. If you live farther than the US express shipping will be more. I do not offer express because of this - the shipping often exceeds the worth of the item.
