I wanted to paint somewhere I wanted to be, I wanted to feel the sand under my toes and smell the salt air on the offshore breeze. I wanted to hang out with the seagulls and fortunately, even though I am several hundred miles from the nearest Ocean, i was able to spend a day there at my easel!
