Although I found Sylvia Plath's "The Bell Jar" to be frightening because it was so depressing, the notion of being trapped in a bell jar stayed with me. This drawing is a friendly gesture to the late Sylvia Plath. Many creatures peer out from the jar as a bird with a human skull acts as the captain of his strange ship. The randomly placed wheels look more like soft donuts than objects of support. Still, it looks like a fun ride. Often just a little bit of humor can displace depression.
