I draft custom corset patterns to different measurements and style requirements. I couldn't guarantee 100% perfect fit (anyone using my patterns would want to create a mock-up, as with a commercial pattern), but I am willing to draft any style of corset to any measurements.

This item buys you one full-scale pattern, mailed to you. It will include all tailoring marks, seam allowance, and cutting notes. Every corset style EXCEPT bra-top is available at this price.

Due to the amazing array of potential corsets, and the construction nuances of each, it is at this time impossible for me to write out full assembly instructions for each corset. I will include basic assembly instructions, a suggested boning diagram, and will be happy to answer any questions and offer advice along the way. Also, for anyone who has an account on LiveJournal, I highly recommend the CorsetMakers community as an amazing resource for anyone learning to construct corsets.

What I need from you:

Please take all measurements as accurately as possible. You will need a friend to help, because it is impossible to take all the measurements accurately on yourself. Also, take each measurement twice, just to make sure. The last image above is a measurement diagram showing the measurements I need and describing how to take each one.

*Corset Style*
Let me know what style of corset you want to make. Name a historical era or corset type, link to a drawing or photo of your inspiration, or describe in detail the profile you hope to achieve. The photo or drawing does not need to reflect your exact body type - it just needs to show the piecing and intended profile.

*Construction Style*
There are many different ways to make corsets, and most construction choices affect what the pattern should look like. Many corseters make their corsets with a single foundation layer, with or without lining. I make mine with a double foundation and lining. Both 1/2" and 5/8" seams are popular. Bones can be applied with folded fabric, stitching, or bone casing.

I also need to know of intended structural details, such as metal busk, zipper closure, wooden busk, extra lacings, shoulder straps, or anything else that comes to mind.

Order a Pattern:

If you prefer, before actually purchasing this item, you can convo me so we can discuss what it is you are looking for and the information I will need from you.

After I have received all information and payment, I will do my best to have the pattern finished within a week. If I expect it to take longer than a week, I'll let you know when the order is placed.

I can't guarantee that the pattern, as drafted, will fit perfectly without any modification. As with any purchased pattern, I very strongly suggest making a mockup to ensure a good fit in the final garment. If you share detailed photos of the mockup, I'll be happy to help you adjust the pattern for a final fit.

I do guarantee that if the mockup is so far off you can't use the pattern, I'll give you your money back. My hope is that every pattern will be close enough to fit with only minor adjustments.

Thanks! :)
