Another beautiful handspun from my Ireland art yarn series.
Lucan, irish- Leamhcán, meaning "place of elms". The discovery of a sulphurous spa in Lucan in 1758 brought the district into prominence.

The colors: yellow-green,grey,grey-blue,wheat, yellow, yello-brown, light teal.

This 2-ply is fingering weight on Merino superwash/Nylon fiber. With a generous 362 yards, it would make a lovely shawl, a incredible pair of tall socks, or whatever else you can imagine.

Fiber: Merino superwash/Nylon
Yardage: 362 yards approx.
weight: 3,24oz
needle: 2-3
67%wool
33% nylon
Weight: Fingering/sock weight. There are bits that are a little thinner and thicker, as is characteristic of handspun, but it's overall consistent.

I take pictures in natural sunlight with a DSLR camera. Colors are accurate to my monitor, but may vary on different monitors and lighting.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
I triple rinse all of my fibers, but some colors may bleed slightly upon first wash.
This yarn is superwash treated, but to keep the yarn looking nice. I recommend handwashing in cold water with a delicate detergent and laying flat to dry.
