Description

Welcome to Digital Nails! I'm a self-proclaimed polish-aholic and my love for creating my own polishes bloomed from a fun hobby for myself into this shop!

This listing is for a 15ml bottle of Pale Blue Dots

This nail polish is part of our Scientist Puns series!

Upon finishing the job it had to do in our solar system, Carl Sagan convinced NASA to turn the Voyager spacecraft around and have it photograph planet earth as it was leaving.

“Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam." Carl Sagan

OH MAN YOU GUYS. THE FEELS, I seriously can not read through that without tearing up.
I had to immortalize that feelsy moment in polish, and I tried my best to capture the depth of a navy colored space, the twinkling stars, and the feeling washing over me that we are special BUT insignificant - polar opposites! Tugged in opposite directions, I often look out into the stars and wonder what is out there, and the possibilities are endless. It is shown above, two coats with topcoat.

It will come shipped gift ready, in a white box with colorful packing material.
This and all of my other polishes are 5 Free, which means I never use toluene, formaldehyde resin, formaldehyde, camphor or Dibutyl Phthalate. It is also vegan and cruelty free.

Shipping policies

I ship USPS First Class with tracking numbers for all domestic packages under 13 oz. For everything over 13oz, I use Priority Mail.

I do not ship overseas. As a small business, I cannot afford to replace or refund any packages that may be lost in transit or destroyed by customs. Lost packages happen. It has been my experience in the past and if a package cannot be completely tracked to the destination, I do not feel comfortable sending it. I do hope you understand my position on this matter, and I will not make exceptions.
