Hand-painted name or word presented into Ogham for tattoo consideration with a maximum of 12 characters due to my unique painting and scanning process. Each name or word is custom painted for every individual order. I provide you with a digital black on white JPEG scan of your hand-painted name or word to the email address you provide. I will also email a PDF of detailed notations and the history of the Ogham alphabet. Additional consultations are available via email (custom@oghamart.com) and phone (1-877-305-7819). This is a 100% digital product - no physical mail will be sent.

Ogham is the earliest written representation of the Irish language. It is most commonly written vertically and is read from bottom to top. It is believed that Ogham was first used in Ireland and parts of western England, Scotland and Wales between the 2nd and 6th centuries. Its main use was to mark territory by being carved into rocks and trees. Today there are approximately 400 surviving examples.

Love it! I really like that it came with a little card that gives some information on ogham as well as a handwritten card with my name in ogham. I got this picture as a Mother’s Day gift for my mom and I can’t wait for her to open it!
